The Challenge: Unifying Operations to Maximize Impact

When Petites-Mains approached us, the decentralization of their data was a major obstacle to their efficiency. Each department faced specific challenges:

  • The intervention team struggled to maintain an overview of each participant’s journey, as information was scattered across multiple files.
  • The catering service managed its opportunities, quotes, and client follow-ups using different tools, making sales pipeline management cumbersome and lacking visibility.
  • The sewing workshop lacked an integrated system to track production in real time, from raw material orders to finished goods inventory management.
  • The accounting department had to manually consolidate financial data from various sources—a lengthy, complex, and error-prone process.
  • The leadership team wanted a tool that could easily bring all this information together to provide a comprehensive and reliable overview of the organization, supporting informed strategic decision-making.

This fragmentation of information didn’t just hinder productivity—it created redundancies, increased the risk of errors, and complicated processes that needed to be agile.

The ArcheTI Solution: A Custom Odoo Implementation

To meet this challenge, ArcheTI designed and deployed a fully customized Odoo solution tailored to Petites-Mains’ reality. Our approach went beyond implementing an ERP system—we sculpted it to simplify and professionalize their operations.

Our intervention was structured around several key areas:

  1. Implementation of strategic modules: We deployed the core Odoo modules to create an integrated backbone—Sales (for structuring opportunity tracking and automating quote creation), Manufacturing (for real-time visibility into production status), Purchasing and Inventory (for optimizing the supply chain), and Contacts.
  2. Custom development at the heart of the mission: The Contacts module was deeply customized by our experts. We transformed it into a powerful intervention tracking tool capable of managing complex data: psychosocial journeys, internal training follow-up (industrial sewing, catering, office administration), and progress toward employment.
  3. A phased and controlled rollout: To ensure a smooth transition, we structured the project into three distinct phases:
    • Phase 1: Integration of the catering service (operations, sales, CRM)
    • Phase 2: Deployment for the intervention division (psychosocial and employment support)
    • Phase 3: Optimization of the manufacturing division (production and inventory management)
  4. A high-performance, secure infrastructure: Instead of an on-premise setup, we implemented a cloud-hosted infrastructure on AWS (Amazon Web Services). This architecture, managed and maintained by ArcheTI, provides Petites-Mains with the flexibility, security, and reliability needed to support their growth.

Results: Operational Efficiency Serving Human Impact

The impact of our Odoo solution on Petites-Mains’ operations has been significant. As a partner, we are proud to have contributed to the following advances:

  • Centralized data: All information is now accessible in real time from a single source, providing a 360° view of operations and eliminating data silos.
  • Access control and compliance (Law 25): We implemented fine-grained role-based access management, ensuring data confidentiality and compliance with Law 25.
  • Unified accounting: Financial management is now streamlined within a single system, simplifying month-end processes and providing a clear view of the organization’s financial health.
  • Informed decision-making: With consolidated dashboards and reliable data, Petites-Mains’ leadership now has powerful tools to guide the organization and amplify its social impact.

Conclusion: An Evolving Technological Partnership

This project perfectly embodies ArcheTI’s philosophy. More than just an implementation, this case study demonstrates our ability to shape the power and flexibility of Odoo to fit the unique, human-centered processes of a social enterprise.

Our collaboration with Petites-Mains is a living example of the potential of an all-in-one solution. The partnership continues to evolve. Since the initial rollout, the solid foundation we built has enabled the integration of new modules to meet growing needs—Email Marketing and Events for communication, a complete training platform with eLearning and Knowledge Base, as well as Signatures and Attendance management tools.
