DVS Canada is a retail and distribution company based in St-Tite, Quebec, with over 25 years of experience and an established online store since 2014. Operated by Centre du camion St-Tite Inc., the company focuses on providing a top-tier online shopping experience for automotive and vehicle-related products. Their product range includes in-vehicle technology, virus protection, lighting, batteries and chargers, 12-volt accessories, detailing supplies, air and electric tools, and protective equipment. Examples of items sold include Bluetooth communication devices, power inverters, cellular boosters, and CB antennas. DVS Canada is committed to helping customers find the products they need, even if not listed or out of stock, by sourcing items upon request.

Great stories are for everyone, even when they are written for just one person. If you try to write with a broad, general audience in mind, your story will sound fake and lack emotion. No one will be interested. Writing for one particular person means that if it is authentic for one, it is authentic for the rest.

Contexte

DVS sought to modernize their operations by consolidating their various software solutions into a single, unified ERP system. For example, previously, they relied on Excel spreadsheets to manage inventory, but with the new system, they implemented Odoo's powerful Inventory module to streamline and automate their inventory management processes. The main challenge was that the client required the integration to go live on a very tight deadline of three weeks.

The Solution and Project Implementation

This was a standard implementation project that required no custom development, allowing us to accelerate the integration process. The modules implemented were Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Accounting. These modules help improve efficiency and provide real-time insights into DVS’ financial and inventory data. We are currently collaborating with DVS on the integration of additional modules, including Website, to further enhance their business operations.

The Results

At Arche TI, we were proud to have met the client’s deadline, bringing their Odoo system live within just 3 weeks. This project serves as a great example of how a quick-start implementation can be successfully completed on a tight timeline. Thanks to the standard nature of the project and the limited number of users, we were able to offer an affordable solution. Additionally, DVS was able to secure a grant to help offset the costs, making this project even more cost-effective for them.
